Decorative grilles are designed to be installed directly on the flange of the valve body or the closing opening with the valve installed in it has a decorative purpose. The curved louvers of the grille facilitate the passage of gas and smoke, and at the same time hide the internal elements of the valve structure. The grate must be installed in such a way that when the valve is opened, the flap does not rest against the grate. To do this, it is necessary to connect an air duct with a length of at least the length of the flap departure outside the valve towards the grille. Basically, the grilles are installed on wall-mounted smoke valves (floor-mounted), the flap of which does not extend beyond the front side of the valve body.
